Project Highlight: Zen Scandinavian Kitchen Transformation in Mekarsari Anggun, Penang

Carte Kitchen is thrilled to unveil our third completed kitchen cabinet project at Mekarsari Anggun—a captivating transformation for Mr. @iqblzbr and Ms. @hawanisaharin. Guided by the skilled touch of our design consultant, Ms. Ally Tay from the Bukit Mertajam Branch, this Zen Scandinavian-inspired kitchen perfectly reflects the couple’s vision of a calm, functional, and visually pleasing space.

A Dual-Zone Design for Practicality and Style

This space is divided into a dry and wet kitchen, separated by a tasteful partition and sliding door, balancing both functionality and aesthetic. The dry kitchen is thoughtfully styled with a light grey melamine finish for the cabinets, paired with a sleek white quartz stone countertop. A natural wood panel adds warmth to the counter, creating a cozy, inviting feel ideal for casual dining or social gatherings.

In the wet kitchen, high-density fiberboard (HDF) in a light grey finish is used for the base cabinets, ensuring durability and a sleek look. Topped with a white quartz stone countertop, the wet kitchen is designed for kitchen-duty use while maintaining its minimalist elegance. Melamine wall cabinets in a light wood color bring an organic touch, balancing durability with the tranquil aesthetics of the Zen Scandinavian theme.

Beyond the elegant exterior, this kitchen is equipped with smart storage solutions that enhance its functionality. The custom dish drawer and pull-out tray keep essentials organized and within easy reach, making the cooking and cleaning process smooth and efficient. These practical features reflect the Scandinavian philosophy of blending beauty with purpose, ensuring that each component serves a function while maintaining the kitchen’s clean, minimalist appeal.
