Project Highlight: Stunning Custom Kitchen Design in Taman Kempas, Sungai Petani

Our latest project, located in Taman Kempas, Sungai Petani, Kedah, is a perfect example of how thoughtful design and expert craftsmanship come together to create a dream kitchen.

From Carte Tour Workshop to Dream Kitchen Reality

Ms. Hatin and Mr. Farez first connected with us during our Carte Tour Workshop Event on June 8th, 2024. After gaining insights into our design philosophy and seeing the quality of our materials firsthand, they decided to work with Carte Kitchen to transform their space. With the guidance of our talented design consultant, Zoey Tan from Carte Kitchen Sungai Petani, the couple embarked on their kitchen renovation journey.

The result? A functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen that exceeds their expectations. Here’s a closer look at how we brought their vision to life:

A Bright and Inviting Wet Kitchen

The wet kitchen features an L-shaped layout designed for both efficiency and beauty. The sink is perfectly positioned in front of a window, allowing natural light to flood the workspace and create an inviting atmosphere. On the left, the fridge fits seamlessly into the cabinetry, maintaining the sleek flow of the design. To the right, the cooking area is well-equipped with a hob, stove, and illuminated open shelving, adding both style and practicality. To maximize the space, a chest freezer was cleverly placed at the far-right corner for added convenience.

Smart Storage and Elegant Design in the Dry Kitchen

Across from the wet kitchen is a tall, two-door pantry cabinet, offering abundant storage for food and appliances. Moving into the dry kitchen, we introduced a modern I-shaped layout that combines functionality with elegance. This space includes a built-in oven, 3-tier Blum drawers, and a cozy bar-style seating area for two. To maximize storage, we integrated three hidden cabinets beneath the seating area. The upper wall cabinets, fitted with glass doors, add an elegant touch, perfect for showcasing tableware or decor items.

A Simple Yet Functional Laundry Area

The adjacent laundry area complements the kitchen’s seamless design. With wall cabinets and floating shelves for organized storage, paired with a top-load washing machine, this area combines simplicity with practicality, keeping everything neatly in place.

Sophisticated Finishes for a Modern Look

The entire kitchen and laundry area are brought together with a sophisticated beige color palette for the cabinets, paired with luxurious white quartz countertops. This combination creates a clean, modern aesthetic that exudes both warmth and elegance.
